Rupert Neve Designs RNDI: Premium Direct Sound:

The RNDI delivers rich, vibrant DI tone through a custom-designed Rupert Neve transformer and a class-A biased discrete FET amplifier. This high-headroom, phantom-powered DI captures the full harmonic depth of instruments—from bass and acoustic guitar to synths and line-level sources—with clarity, punch, and unmatched phase coherence.

Transformer + FET Synergy:

Its transformer provides superior isolation and warmth, while the class-A FET input (2MΩ) ensures no tonal loss across instruments. The RNDI avoids crossover distortion and generates only musically pleasing 2nd and 3rd order harmonics, preserving natural tone without harshness.

Studio-Grade Performance:

The RNDI excels in both live and studio environments with extended frequency response (well below 20Hz to beyond 100kHz) and the ability to drive long cable runs with no degradation. It handles input levels up to +21.5dBU, making it perfect for re-preamping or DI’ing line-level devices.

Speaker Mode Flexibility:

In speaker mode, the RNDI captures the output of amps up to 1000W, allowing engineers to record a full amp chain before the speaker—ideal for live setups and use with cabinet emulation.

The Result:

A DI box with unmatched fidelity, headroom, and musicality—worthy of the Rupert Neve name.
