Analog Spectral Sculpting Tool:
The Moog Spectravox is a powerful analog spectral processor and vocoder built around a 10-band filter bank. It generates vibrant drones, evolving textures, and psychedelic tonal sweeps—on its own or with external sound sources.
Dynamic 10-Band Vocoder:
Plug in a microphone via the combo XLR/¼” input, and Spectravox transforms into a full-featured 10-band vocoder, mapping the characteristics of your voice (or any input) onto an internal analog oscillator or other sources.
Moving Filter Bank with Modulation:
Unlike traditional fixed filter banks, Spectravox’s state-variable filters can be swept using internal LFOs or external CV. This allows for resonant, vowel-like movements, rich phasing, and evolving timbres that shift dynamically across the spectrum.
Standalone Synthesizer Voice:
Featuring a built-in analog oscillator and white noise generator, Spectravox can act as a self-contained synthesizer voice—ideal for experimental, textural, and ambient sound design.
Extensive Patchability:
With a comprehensive patch bay, Spectravox is ready for deep integration with other Moog semi-modular gear or Eurorack setups. Patch each filter independently, control spectral motion, or create unpredictable audio experiments.
